Zeah Schlisner, Controller
Zeah has over 8 years of experience in business administration, most recently as a Senior Accountant for Vibra Hospital in Denver, CO. Her experience includes a full range of financial reporting, accounting management, and budgeting for health care organizations. In addition, she was responsible for organizing capitalization of a $70 million hospital expansion in Denver.
Shane Stone, Senior Vice President of Sales
Shane brings over 25 years of experience in the health care consulting, benefits administration outsourcing, exchange, and third party administration fields. Previously, he led national sales for Optum Health, where he worked with Fortune 1000 employers and distribution partners to build integrated benefits enrollment technology and engagement solutions. Shane is a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), a Registered Health Underwriter (RHU) and a Registered Employee Benefits Consultant (REBC). He is married, has five children, and enjoys his musical family, with several of the kids playing instruments and Shane on lead guitar.
Kathy McGrath, Vice President of Member Operations
Kathy has over 15 years of experience in the healthcare industry serving in a variety of roles, including marketing, project management, client management, program operations and technical service support. She has held roles of increasing responsibility with McKesson Health Solutions where she built high performing teams, strong client relationships and profitable programs. Kathy earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Denver. She is married and enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.
Kim Abram, Director of Provider Contracting
Kim has more than 25 years of healthcare experience leading operations and sales management teams. She has held leadership roles on the provider side of the industry at the Iowa Health System and on the benefits side with American Republic Insurance Company and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Iowa and South Dakota. Her most recent role before coming to BridgeHealth was Director of Small Group and Individual Sales for BCBS. Kim holds an undergraduate degree in accounting from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and an MBA from Drake University. Kim has three children, loves living in Colorado and is an avid Denver Broncos fan.
Laura Casanova, Director of Marketing & Communications
Laura has over 20 years of marketing and communications experience in the healthcare industry, primarily with health and pharmacy benefits. Her background includes marketing for B2B, B2C, and B2B2C audiences, as well as leading corporate communications. Her focus is on developing marketing and communications that are simple yet compelling. Laura earned undergraduate degrees in journalism and political science from the University of Northern Colorado and a master’s degree in communications from the University of Denver. She is married and considers herself a semi-native of Colorado, having lived in the state since she was six years old.
Alex Lee, Director of Information Technology
Prior to joining BridgeHealth, Alex managed strategic campaign development, provided data mining assistance and coordinated marketing database efforts across a multitude of products, systems and sales segments while navigating big data for the high-tech information sources giant in the legal industry, LexisNexis. Before LexisNexis, he put his talents to work supporting the agency automation and IT systems for the Brower Insurance Agency, LLC supporting both property and casualty and health benefits divisions. For more than a decade Alex has been configuring systems and working with automation of large data in both the Legal and Insurance industries. Alex earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems from Wright State University in Dayton, OH. Personal interests include fly fishing Colorado’s mountain streams, camping, skiing, golfing and occasional day at the race track.
Karen Marchman, Director of Contracts Administration & Compliance
Karen has over 30 years of experience as a paralegal, specializing in various areas of the law, including commercial real estate, corporate securities, bankruptcy, litigation and mergers and acquisition. In each of these areas, she was responsible for overseeing, closing and managing large transactions after the initial delivery of documents and contract execution. She has extensive experience creating policies and procedures, as well as preparing and negotiating agreements. She has also served on two boards in the Metro Denver area and one nationally. Prior to joining BridgeHealth, Karen was part of the JLD Opener Team of DaVita, Inc., where she was responsible for the preparation of the documentation necessary in aiding the opening of DaVita dialysis clinics across the country. Karen attended California State University, Northridge, where she majored in political science, and also attended the University of Denver Women’s College, where she majored in communication. Karen is married, has three children, and enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.
